She was predeceased by: her father Erwin Penner; her husband Dale K. Burtner, Jr.; and her mother Marjorie Prokes. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Burtner of Olympia and Jennifer Burtner of Olympia; her grandchildren, Abigail, Catherine and Benjamin Burtner; and her siblings, Bruce Penner of Charlottesville, Virginia and Evelyn Rosser of Omaha, Nebraska..
