He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Cooksey and Dorothy Cooksey; his wife Ruby Cooksey (Jaggers); his daughter Vicki Reese (Gary); his grandchildren, Nichole, Lindsey (Mark), Alexis, Morgan, Kaden, Blake, Brooklyn, Braely and Sebastian; and his siblings, John "Bob" Cooksey (Sue) and Mary Lou. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Franklin American Legion, Post 205 at 1200 Park Avenue Franklin, Indiana 46131.
