He was predeceased by: his brother William Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Hicks; his children, Phillip Hicks (Karen), Sharon Giger (Richard), Larry Hicks (Carol) and Lori Sewell (Martin); and his siblings, Arletta Chapman, Katie Flaherty and Stanley Hicks. He is also survived by several grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
