We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2020, at the age of 94, Dorothy Rainey (Franklin, Indiana), born in Bronx, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rahmer and Grace Rahmer (Mahoney); her husband William Howard Rainey; and her sister Lorraine Lappe. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Weddle (Ed), Robin Betts (David) and Jamie Rainey (Elizabeth Boswell); her grandchildren, Stephanie Stewart, Stacey Brooks (Tommy), Benji Betts (Ali), Wendy Preilis (Jerry), Eli Betts (Robin), Ryan Rainey (Stacey), Presley Rainey, Xavier Rainey, Tabor Bandy (Shannon) and Quincy Rainey; her great grandchildren, Travis Stewart, Sydney Stewart, Grant Brooks, Gage Brooks, Jacob Preilis, Gwen Preilis, Cohen Betts, Landry Betts, Greyson Betts, Griffin Betts, Skylar Rainey, Amelia Rainey and Addison Rainey; and her pet Sadie.
