It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Voorhies of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Sims and Lola Mae Sims (Drury); her husband Joe; and her brother Lawrence Sims. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Tolliver (Bob), Lynn Voorhies and Lisa Reed (Roger); and her grandchildren, Brian Tolliver, Greg Tolliver, Spencer Stapleton, Josh Stapleton, Andra Brauer and Caitlyn Stachovsky. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
