He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Teets and Lucy Teets (Bolenbaugh); his brothers, Delmar Lee Teets, Arthur Lee Teets, Jr. and Bobby Teets; and his nephew Scott Douglas Teets.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Teets (Campbell); his daughter-in-law Deb Teets; his grandchildren, Michelle Steele (Matt), Christopher Teets, Jason Teets, Jessi West (Ben), Kendra Johnson and April Johnson; his stepgranddaughters, Molly Burton (Tom) and Michelle Tucker (Kirk); his great grandchild Cal Scott West; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kurtis Tucker, Jacob Bradford and Johnna Fritch (Justin); and his sisters, Pam DeVito (Rocky), Sandy Holderbaum and Wanda Hale (Gary).
