She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Murphy and Mildred V. Wethington Murphy; her granddaughter Angela G. Carmer; her great grandchild Emma Rose Whited; and her siblings, Virgil Murphy, Roy Murphy, Mary A. Murphy, Cora Whitley (Wilbur), Coy Murphy (Claudie), Murl Murphy (Effie), Beulah Summers-Woodrum and Mae Malone (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her husband Homer Worth Whited; and her children, Shirley G. Blair of Columbus, Homer Whited (Lana) of Columbus, Jacqueline L. McGaha (Randall) of Franklin and Kimberly J. Wiggington (Allen) of Needham, Indiana. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; as well as a great-great-grandchild.
