She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellwood E. Elliott and Bessie Elliott (Richie). She is survived by: her husband James F. Real; and her children, Alan Real, James E. Real and Erica Y. Carhuff. She is also survived by 4 sisters; 2 brothers; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
