Gilmore Abplanalp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilmore Abplanalp of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Abplanalp and Elsie Abplanalp (Peetz); his wife Rita Burch; his sons, Garry (Laura) of New Albany and Dean (Dorcas) of Franklin; his brother Delbert Abplanalp (Dorothy); and his stepgrandchildren, Jon Blankenship (Carly) and Jenni Dick (Brian). He was also cherished by three step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
