James Sleighter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sleighter of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sleighter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Sleighter and Zora M. Sleighter (Zimmerman); his wife Lois Marie Bowers; and his brother Carl Sleighter. He is survived by: his daughters, Patsy Epperson (Dave) of Whiteland, Indiana. and Carla Hash (Rick) of Whiteland, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Dr. Jeremy Deer, Anthony Hash (Jennifer), Tyler Hash, Bryan Epperson (Khristina), Brad Epperson (Christy) and Brandi Turner (Kirsh); his great grandchildren, Chloe Hash, Charlotte Hash, Paige Epperson, Brooke Epperson, Bryce Epperson, Chase Epperson, Reise Epperson, Blane Terry, Kopelin Turner and Tauran Epperson; his stepdaughter Rita Cox (Carl) of Bedford; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Cox, Lindsey Lane (Jaron) and Allison Pierce (Joshua); and his sister-in-law Joann Sleighter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
