He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John E. Eviston, John T. Ray and Maxine Slocum Ray; and his aunt Julie Eviston Tansy. He is survived by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Eversole; his stepfather Roger Eversole; his father Johnny Randall Ray; his stepmother Judy Ray; his children, Taylor Ray, Cory Ray, Michael Ray, Zachary Ray, Kayleigh Ray and Hadassah Ray; his siblings, Johnny Ray Jr. (Elizabeth), Joshua Ray (Terry), Allie Carlin, Samantha Fults (Ethan) and Michael Zeigler; his grandmother Maxine Franklin Eviston; and his aunts, Kathy Eviston, Pam Ray Binger (Paul) and Susan Ray Mewborn (Jim). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
