He was predeceased by: his brother James E. Griner. He is survived by: his spouse Carol Compton Griner; his children, Gay Hale (Charles) of Downington, Gary Griner (Martha) of Franklin and Beth Hart (Larry) of Trafalgar; and his grandchildren, Hannah Mummert (Joe), Jarrett Griner of Franklin, Evan Hart (Megan) of Trafalgar, Emily Hale, Molly Hale of Philadelphia and Kate Hale of Baltimore.
