It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Despot of Franklin, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dushan Despotovich and Blanche Despotovich (Lee); and his siblings, Violet Guynn, Thomas Despot, Helen Meko Petrovich and George Despot.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Haines; his children, Debi Reed (Don) of New Palestine, IN, John Despot (Treesa) of White Bluff, Joann Loftus (Dale) of New Palestine, IN and Tom Despot (Becky) of Monterey, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Lankford, Monica Sanchez, Sara Despot, Zoe Dorsey, Darcy Despot, Rebecca Miles, Jacob Despot and Natalie Henderson. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
