She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Charles Cooley and Olive Frances Cooley-Painter (Arbuckle); her husband Bobby Hodson; and her sister Peggy Sharp. She is survived by: her children, Kim William Hodson and Sandra Kay Barrett; and her grandchildren, Donnie Watson (Lynette), Michelle Vose, Melissa Hakes (Tim) and Seth Hodson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
