She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ermol Blackwell and Dorothy Blackwell (Callahan); her husband Donald Gast; her children, Jeremy Akers (Angie), Ben Akers (Shea) and Carrie Nelson (Jeremy); her stepchildren, Kristopher Gast and Morgan McDaniel (Ryan); her grandchildren, Jozey, Cole, Jacob, Sidney, Gracie, Ben, Jr., Terry, Matthew, Isaiah, Faith, Paige, Evan, Jon and Zoey; her great grandchild Jencyn; and her siblings, Fred Blackwell and Linda Demaree (Steve).
