It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Fay McCarthy of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gunter and Rosa Gunter (Mattingly); and her sister Hazel Meece. She is survived by: her husband John J. McCarthy of Franklin, IN; her daughter Tammy Ballew (Carl McMurray) of Franklin, IN; her grandchildren, Chelsea Burton of Franklin, IN, Cassea Crawford of Whiteland, IN, Cole Ballew of Franklin, IN and Kaitlyn McMurray of Franklin, IN; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Emmalyn Crawford and Gunnar Wagoner; and her sisters, Maggie Wuilliez (Ray) of Virginia, Frances Cole (Rocky) of Florida, Kathy Allen of Lebanon, IN, Peggy Grant (Rob) of Whiteland, IN, Ruth Wilkins (Kenny) of Franklin, IN and Juanita Gunter of Greenwood, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
