She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Geabes and Lou Ellen Geabes (Sanders); her spouse Archie L Sams; her daughter Fredericka Sams; her stepdaughter Tracie Sams; and her niece Tina Geabes.
She is survived by: her brothers, Scott Geabes (Suzann) and John Paul Geabes; her daughters, Jennifer Engle (Steve) and Bambi Geabes; her grandchildren, Lauren Spencer (Stephen), Cynthia Jones (Justin), Sarah Shepherd (Tyrus), La Kota Robinson, Dustin Robinson and Kaylee Beed (Dawson); and her nephew John Paul Geabes Jr. (Lisa). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Lou Ann through the funeral home to the First Marion Baptist Church Cemetery fund or donors' choice.
