She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Massey and Ora Massey (McMullen); and her husband Clyde C. Charters. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Charters and Edward Charters (Rita); her grandchildren, Edward Andrew II and Jessica Ann Charters; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Hodge and Andrea Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
