She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Patsy Thomas (Neff); her husband R. C. Bowling; and her sisters, Georgia, Odie, Ruby, Mary and Morgan Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred O'Reilly, Norman Young (Pam), Paul Bowling and Shannon Bowling. She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
