He was predeceased by: his former wives, Dorothy Gammon Humble and Aline Webb Humble; his parents, Latimer Humble and Laura May Humble; and his siblings, Avery, Edward, Samuel Humble, Nola, Bonnie, Euleen, Mary, Audrey and Margie.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Workman (Kenny) of Franklin, Daniel Humble (Grace) of Franklin, David Humble of Edinburgh and Cindy Richardson (Chris) of Franklin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
