He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Butler; and his daughter Julie Butler Lacy. He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Butler and Virginia Butler (Godfrey); his daughters, Amy Butler Lasko and Lisa Butler Grainge; and his sister Mabel Osborne.
