He is survived by: his former wife Angeline Janitz; his children, Jean Bowman and Norman Sheek; his grandchildren, Nancy Braswell, Stacy Bowman and Christine Bratton; his sister Jeannette Ritchhart (Mikel Thorne); and his pet Mahla. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
