She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Elgin and Mamie Skaggs; her stepfather Clayton "Red" Mathena; and her siblings, James Skaggs (Patt), William Houston Skaggs (Margret), Charles Skaggs (Ann) and Thelma Mae Skaggs Beadle.
She is survived by: her children, Mariah Lee Parkhurst (Hinderliter), Scott Parkhurst (Laura) of Franklin, IN and Mariah Hinderliter (Chad) of Shelbyville, IN; her grandchildren, Lucas, Madisen, Morgan Hinderliter, Daniel and Audrey Parkhurst; and her siblings, Lillian Rogers (Gene) of Waterloo, IN, Bobby Skaggs (Nancy) of Tennessee, Leroy Skaggs (Rosie) of Whiteland, IN and Rusty Skaggs (Brenda) of Bargersville, IN..
