She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Elliot Payne, Sr. and Rosa "Cecyl" Payne (Johnson); her husband Dr. E. Richard Lane; her son Richard Steven Lane; her granddaughter Danielle Brooke Lane-Duncan; and her brother Rex Elliot Payne, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Rexene Lane; her grandchildren, Holly Marie, Deidra Gail, Neal Alexander Trogdon-Lane (Haley) and Adrienne Michelle; her great grandchildren, Ashton, Zaden, Wesley, Isabella, Kyla, Drew and Xander; and her sister-in-law Laura Payne. She is also survived by 5 nieces; 6 nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Indiana Baptist College at 1301 W. County Line Road Greenwood, Indiana 46142.
