He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Thompson and Wretha Thompson (Thompson); his son Charles Andrew "Chuck" Thompson; and his brother Gene Thompson (Beverly). He is survived by: his wife Karen Thompson (Lynn); his children, Michael Thompson (Liz) of Greenwood, William "Tony" Thompson (Jena) of Seminole, Florida and Cary Caudill of Greenwood; his stepson Sean Lynn (Shannon) of Tacoma, Washington; his grandchildren, Morgan, Sophie, Emery, Emily Thompson and Levon McCoy; his stepgrandchildren, Kaya and Maxwell Lynn; his siblings, Alice Sutton and John Thompson; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Thompson.
