He was predeceased by: his former wife Rolla Jean Taylor; and his daughter Cathy Showalter. He is survived by: his spouses, Rolla Jean Hayes and Corrine "Pat" Taylor; his children, Debbie Broyles (Gary), Mike Taylor (Pam), Terrie Collins (Scot), Ronald Sharpless (Faith) and Lewis Sharpless (Nancy); Kokomo. He is also survived by grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society in Mal's honor.
