He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Louie" and Alice Mae McCartney; his sibling Sherry Marten; Doyle Marten. He is survived by: his wife Tammy M. McCartney; his son Troy Hopkins (Kelly); and his siblings, Mark McCartney (Sheryl) of Garrett, IN, Lewis "Andy" McCartney Jr (Becky), Randy Westbrook of Butler, IN, Linda Watson of Newville, IN and Sharon McCartney.
