Diane Costin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Costin (Garrett, Indiana), who passed away on December 6, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hopkins and LaVora Hopkins (Miller); her husband John; her daughter Patricia Esselburn; her daughter-in-law Kim Costin; and her siblings, Arthur Hopkins and Sandy Lautzenhiser.
She is survived by: her children, Tom, Susan Costin of Denton, TX, Cathy, David Gibson of Clermont, FL, Tim, Chris Costin of Garrett, Dennis, Laurie Costin of Wauseon, OH, Nancy, William Browand of New Haven, Peter and Lisa Costin of Churubusco; her son-in-law Mike Esselburn of Hamilton; and her siblings, Sam Hopkins (Stephanie) of Kendallville and Rita Lumm of Melbourne Beach, Florida.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials be directed to the Garrett Library or St. Joseph Catholic School.
