She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. Newcomer and Lucy Newcomer (Beard); her husband Harry Kees; and her siblings, Charles, Max, Dean and Helen Barger.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Kees (Deborah) of Waterford, Michigan and Nancy Thompson (Gary) of Metamora, Michigan; and her brothers, Richard Newcomer of Auburn, Jerry Newcomer (Bonnie) of Kendallville, Lyle Newcomer of LaGrange and Dale Newcomer (Mary) of San Francisco, California.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
