He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Haynes and Barbara Haynes (Krider). He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hathaway; his daughter Michele Haynes of Garrett; his brother Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Sue Haynes of Barefoot, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be directed to the DeKalb Humane Society, 5221 U.S. Highway 6, Butler, Indiana 46721.
