He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Clauss and Emma Clauss; his siblings, Maxine Scarborough, Carol Galbraith and Johnny Philip; and his grandson Landon Freed.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Phil Clauss, John Clauss, Rich Clauss, Robin Maggert, Colby Clauss (Renee), Todd Estes, Michelle Freed (Gary), Aaron Estes (Melissa) and Ashlie Williams (Jody); and his siblings, Mary Ann Clemmer (Steve) and Wayne Beer. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Hospice.
