We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2018, at the age of 86, Bertha M. Ballard (Gary, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Elvin Ballard Sr.; and her son Elvin Ballard, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ron Ballard (Crystal), Bonita Martin (John), Karen Ballard, Robert Theus, Cynthia Barksdale (John) and Ernest Ballard; and her siblings, Ola Jean Currie, James Bullock (Juanita), Charlie Bullock Jr. and Ernestine Scott (Haywood). She is also survived by grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
