She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hixson and Maude Hixson (Mathews); and her siblings, Nellie Stringfellow, Marilyn Schoch, Francis and Harley Hixson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lutes; her children, Ralph Lutes (Melba) of Shipshewana, Mary Ann Holderman (Dale) of New Paris and Richard "Rick" Lutes (Amy) of Hampshire, Illinois; her granddaughters, Tina Martin (Ken) of LaGrange and Stacy Lutes of Mooresville; her great grandchildren, Audrianna and Derrick Martin; and her sister Linda Hollinger (Roger) of New Paris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to Grace United Methodist Church or New Paris Lions Club.
