With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Faye Hayes of Goshen, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 83. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary Faye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Montgomery and Betty Proffit (Stull); her former husband Robert Hayes; and her sisters, Nancy Hill and Janet McMullin.
She is survived by: her son Richard Hayes (Kristin) of Goshen; her sister Sheila Wimsatt (Dave) of College Corner, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Zach and Kyle Hayes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the College Corner Cemetery (4854 E Velocipede Pike, Liberty, IN 47353).
