She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Smith and Evelyn Smith (Hummer); her spouse Claude J. Deters; her children, Catherine Deters, James and Mark Deters; and her brothers, Martin and David Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, John Deters (Charlene) and Robert Deters (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Amy Deters; her grandchildren, Chris, JohnMichael, Timothy, Matthew (Jessica), Chase Deters and Jonathon Veasey-Deters (Claire); her great grandchildren, Riley and Ella Mae Deters; and her siblings, Susan Smith (Michelle DeLash) and Peter Smith (Georgine) of Arizona.
