He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (Powers); his former life partner Mary Bryan; his daughter Patricia; his siblings, Maurice, Robert, Neil, Michael, Patricia, Beatrice, Fran, Jean and Mary; and his stepsons, David and Jeffrey Krawiec.
He is survived by : his wife Doris J. Krawiec (Oaks); his sons, Timothy O'Brien (Lesa) of Elkhart and Daniel O'Brien of New Castle, IN; his son-in-law Kimothy Moser; his grandson Anthony O'Brien (Meghan) of Maryland; his stepchildren, Ronald Krawiec (Rita) of Stanford, MI, Sharon Brown of Elkhart, Carol Pessefall (Dan) of Elkhart and Steve Krawiec (Melanie) of Oshkosh, WI; and his stepdaughter-in-law Deb Krawiec of Elkhart. He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren and 20 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Indiana School for the Blind in Indianapolis or to United Cancer Services in Elkhart.
