He was predeceased by : his parents, Alva Marion and Gladys L. Crouse (Light); his wife Mary Kathryn Crouse (Turner); and his siblings, Austin Crouse, Hubert Crouse, Ray Crouse, Martha Elizabeth Crouse, Mary Lou Light and Dorothy Smith.

He is survived by : his children, Carl Lester Crouse, II of Paragon, Albert Crouse of Freedom and Connie Steuber of Indianapolis; his brother Don Crouse; and his grandchildren, Carl Lester Crouse, III, Jamie Aguayo, Miranda Crouse, Lori Rubottom, Ainslie Lawinger and Ariel Bennett. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
