Otis Allan Hasty Obituary

Grandview, IN- Otis Allan Hasty, 71, of Grandview, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home.

Allan was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 1, 1953, to the late Otis H. and Dorothy Marie (Walker) Hasty.

Allan retired from Laborers Union #561 and worked for Sterling Boiler & Mechanical.

He enjoyed volunteering his time every year with the Grandview Civic Association and helped start the Grandview Conservation Club. He liked going to outdoor archery tournaments in the past, playing cards with his family, pitching horseshoes, hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the William Tell Senior Center.

Allan loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

In addition to his parents, Allan is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille (Payne) Hasty in 2015; and his daughter, Charla (Hasty) Allen in 2019.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Maffia (James) and Greg Hasty (Erin); his siblings, James Terry Hasty (Dona), Cecil Glenn Hasty (Jacque), and Kenneth Wayne Hasty (Terri); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many extended family members.

Services are 12 P.M., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
