Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Peters and Albert A. Vascil; and his brother Albert A. Vascil. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Tomczak; and his grandchildren, Garrett Vascil, Joshua Vascil (Kelsey), Kailey, Courtney Trippel and Michael Vascil (Cristina).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
