With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Alton Hurst of Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Hurst and Elizabeth Hurst (Walton); his wife Norma Hurst; and his siblings, Wanda Patterson and Wilfred Hurst.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Hurst (Diana) and Michael Hurst (Pat); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hurst, Toni Hurst, Travis Hurst (Kari), Heath Hurst (Jessie), Amanda Ross (Jack) and Matthew Hurst (Krystle). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
