Joann J. Moon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann J. Moon of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann J. Moon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Easton and Malinda Easton (Gleckler); her former husband Raymond E. Moon; and her siblings, Lila Ford (Dallas) and Milferd Easton (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Moon (Jody) of Greenfield and Linda Moon of Port Clinton, OH; her granddaughters, Jamie Muirhead Burkholder (Mark) of Port Clinton, Melissa Muirhead of Parma, OH and Michelle (Moon); and her great grandchildren, Eian Burkholder (Kristine), Elijah Burkholder, Jalynn Burkholder, Jordan Waddell, Jessica Waddell, Peyton Flowers, Ava Flowers, Violet Cox and Rowan Cox. She is also survived by several nieces and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (7355 IN-109, Knightstown, IN 46148). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Kids Club, 150 Maple St., Port Clinton, OH 43452 or Brandywine Community Church Food Pantry, 1551 New Road, Greenfield, IN 46140.
