It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Pritsch of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pritsch and Alwilda Pritsch (Stephens); his daughter Joy E. Reynolds; his brothers, Carl Jr. Pritsch and Markus Pritsch; and his sister-in-law Florence Pritsch.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pritsch (Fowley); his children, Ted J. Pritsch, Andrew T. Pritsch, Amy J. Miller (Paul), Sally A. Pritsch, Stacy S. Sparks and Joel A. Pritsch (Kara); his stepchildren, Kevin M. Speas (Jen Aton) and Lisa A. Speas; his grandchildren, Kendall Toral Pritsch (Santiago), Wayman "Sonny" Snell IV (Bridget), Taylor Johnson (Zach), Jessica Jones (Cordell), Joshua Carmen (Erica), Nolan, Oliver Pritsch, Alexa Poveromo, Oscar and Oliver Reynolds; and his stepgrandchildren, Aaron Speas (Amara), Ryan Speas, Amy Jo Parrish (Corey Smith), Ross Bennett, Kelsey, Christian Jones, Christina Fishback (Evan), Jessica Knapp (Jon), Katherine Miller and Sarah Schrum (Garrett). He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Park Chapel Christian Church (1176 E McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 East McKenzie Road, Greenfield, IN 46140.
