It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyman Couch of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman M. Couch and Hattie J. Couch (Huddleston); and his siblings, Marie Burkhart, Louise Edwards, Helen Engleking and George Couch.

He is survived by : his significant other Jo Ann Couch (Dove); his grandchildren, Jennifer Vogel (Kyle), Erin Gottfried (Matt) and Kristin Murnan (C. W.); his great grandchildren, Olivia Vogel and Briley Murnan; and his siblings, Gladys Reeves (John), Ann Bricker (Gene), Linda Monroe (Warner), Laura Sexton and Bill Couch (Linda).

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 W US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140). As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We must limit the number of guests to 25 at a time and please practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
