She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Fern and Evelyn Fern (Lowery). She is survived by: her husband Ralph Bland; her children, James Bland (Sue), Delores Simmons (Danny), Eva Corley (Duane), Tim Bland (Angie) and Donna Bland; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Bland, David Dixon, Nichole Bland, Cheri Azevedo (Jeremy), Jeff Dixon (Tiffany), Brian Bland (Erin), Christopher Bland (Carissa), Chantal Williams (Jeremy), Kendra Bland and Kaylee Bland (John Botset). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel (1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church that both Virginia and Ralph adore, Victory Independent Baptist Church, 3982 West US Hwy 40, Greenfield. Keep Ollie's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
