She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Schwendenman and Mabel Meer Schwendenman; her brother Thomas E. Schwendenman; her husband Frankie Eugene Owens; her daughter Cathy Ann Owens; her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Schwendenman, Eugene Sieg and Samuel Hoover; and her niece Jane E. Stillson.

She is survived by : her son Chad Owens; her siblings, Mary Hoover of Plymouth, IN and Michael Schwendenman of Martinsville, IN; her grandchildren, Jesse Owens, Natasha Owens and Cierra Owens; her nephew Daniel Sieg (Judy) of Corydon, IN; her nieces, Julia Gibbs (Mark) of Ottawa Lake, MI, Janice Pruitt (Perry) of Noblesville, IN and Jonella Black (John) of Evanston, IL.; her children, Maureen Dewitt (Jonathan), Jake Gibbs, Ben Pruitt, Luke Pruitt, Bobby Black, Jessica Nate (Garrick), John Stillson (Cheyenne), Rachel Guzman (Fran), Andrew Sieg and Jonathan Sieg; and her great-niece Dianna Guzman. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
