He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvina Wenning and Leo Wenning; and his sister Diane Penniston. He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his daughter Hillary Wallpe (Brian) of Batesville; his siblings, Neil Wenning (Ginny) of Cincinnati and Anita Kurtz (Vaughn) of Homosassa, Florida; his grandchildren, Helen Wallpe, Mia Siefert and Henry Wallpe; and his brother-in-law Chuck Penniston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family is requesting memorials to the New Point Volunteer Fire Department.
