Betty Ruth Hewitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ruth Hewitt of Greenwood, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ford Shaeffer and Hazel Marie; and her husband Loren. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Hewitt (Susie) and Brian Hewitt (Veronica); her grandchildren, Emily Golbov (Conrad), Mason Hewitt (Brittany), Colin Hewitt (Celia Dennison), Ross Hewitt and Laura Mueller (Chris); her great grandchildren, Nellianne, Ezra, Celia, Caroline, Emery, Charlie, Ford, Josiah, Henry and Theodosia; and her siblings, Rosemarie Leaman (Wade) and Larry Rockwell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (445 E Stop 11 Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Resurrection Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
