He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Rex Matthews and Marie Christina Matthews (Klein); his wife Jan Matthews of Fort Myers, FL; his sister Joanne Miller of Shelbyville, IN; and his stepdaughter Misty Pruitt (Mark) of Nineveh. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
