With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary Lee Frye of Greenwood, Indiana, born in Franklin, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frye Jr. and Thelma Pauline Frye (Dewbrew); his brother John Frye; his grandparents, Charles, Christina Frye, Elmer and Pauline Dewbrew; his grandson Blake Sutherlin; and his niece Rachel Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Nicole Frye of Greenwood, Indiana; his brothers, James Frye (Sharon) of Jacksonville, Florida, Larry Frye (Kim) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Terry Frye (Carolyn) of Atlanta, Georgia.; his children, Andrew Frye (Stacey) of Wellington, Tiffany Sutherlin (Jordan) of Greenwood, Sabrina Herthel of Martinsville and Justin Sung of Greenwood, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Audrey, Elijah Frye, Charles, Chelsea Sutherlin and Tobias Glendy.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Church (1640 W Stones Crossing Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
