She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hankins and Erma Hankins. She is survived by: her husband Michael Shearer; her daughter Nicole Shearer; her siblings, Melody Patton and Rodger Hankins; and her siblings' children, Brooke Jones, Craig Jones, Kyle Hankins and Kirsten Poynts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
